Don't worry, we are big believers of the theory that there is no such thing as a silly question, only silly answers. Our staff love questions, especially ones that stop and make us think.

General

What age groups are your workshops suitable for?

All ages are welcome at Silly Goose (unless the event says kids-only). Because many of our workshops are held in licensed venues, any under-18s will need a parent or guardian to come along and buy a ticket for the crafty chaos too.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all! Everything will be explained to you at our workshops. Our staff have previous lives as primary school art teachers so they are well versed in explaining things, in multiple different ways.

How long does each workshop last?

1.5 to 2 hours each depending on the activity.

How many people can attend a workshop?

Our workshops are capped at 35 people.

Is your venue wheelchair/stroller accessible?

This will vary depending on which venue you attend. This information will be found on the venue websites.

Can I eat and drink during the session?

Not only can you, we encourage it. I certainly will be! Find me hovering over a bowl of chips, with a coke in hand.

I am neurodivergent and would like to bring headphones or fidgets, is this okay?

A very big YES! We’re all about making sure everyone can enjoy themselves. If you’re neurodivergent or just need a little extra support, feel free to bring headphones, fidgets, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable.

We want your experience to be fun, relaxed, and stress-free, and we’re happy to make small adjustments to help you get the most out of the workshop.

Materials and Prep

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope, you don’t need to bring a thing! Unless we say otherwise, we’ve got everything covered—because that’s exactly what you’re paying us for.

Should I wear old clothes or an apron?

Totally up to you! We don’t currently supply aprons, but you’re very welcome to bring your own… or fully lean into the mess. Paint-splattered fashion is a valid choice here.

Booking and Events

Can I book a private event or party?

Absolutely! You can totally book a private event with us. We can team up with your favourite venue—or even come to your own place. Just hit us up through our contact form or drop us a message on socials.

Can I book a kids workshop?

Right now, we’re not running kids’ workshops, but they’re definitely on the horizon—keep an eye out around school holidays! In the meantime, check out Lauren at Chaos Labs—she’s got you covered.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Not just yet, but they’re on our to-do list! Keep an eye on our socials for when gift vouchers land.

Can I take my artwork home?

Absolutely! Everything you make is yours to keep and take home proudly.

Can I share my workshop creations on social media?
